I remember waking up for work with swollen eyes, and bulging, puffy skin.the way the spiral to insanity began.not with suicide, at all-at least, in the traditional sense. So, i'm two-for-two.three-for-three, if you count Josh Pan's video, where his face swells up and he turns into a reptile… I can pretend to move on, but I can't unlove. In good company, I can shrug it off, I guess….īut on any regular day, it still feels deep. I tense up when I hear the word “Skrillex”. And I miss that, a lot-just being able to be honest about what my taste in music is, who my favorite musician is…. It's almost like.almost like I can't go back at all. I can't go back to being a regular “Skrillex” fan. I feel other people also wonder.Įither way, how would anyone have known about my musical history so broadly, as it's been displayed? Then, going back-maybe it was all of me, that never made it out of that ambulance.Īm I just the special kid in class-and it's obvious I've been left behind? When I hear myself speak aloudt, I wonder if I am retarded. Something inside me never really made it out of that tent. I can account for hundreds of premonitions, predictions, visions-outstanding sensitivity to energy.but how could I misread, and misjudge, so easily? I think i'm a good person, but maybe i'm wrong. I can't be sad and parent at the same time.īut there's nothing I wouldn't give just to know that there's love, somewhere out there for me. There's no room for depression and poverty in motherhood. But he does-and if I can't make it in show business.how are we meant to survive? Sometimes, in all the pain-I fail to see that. I'm driving myself crazy trying to wish away the pain.īearr needs me. My brain's wrapped around all of it, all the time. I can't shake it off anymore, I can't let it go. Now, here I am.about to be homeless, jobless, and lost in love. From playing drums at Ruskos set, to weirdly making my way to Excision, just “following a vibe”-my failed suicide attempt, and running away to Bass Canyon where, everything in my reality officially shattered. I'm so, so confused, and so lost, and so… I wonder what to make of all this, at all. I wonder if the window of opportunity has truly closed. So, that one's my fault, as everything is. So maybe he's not a white supremacist, after all.he seems to love as much as I do-if not more. I am nothing useful that I know of, but it seems so that I've been being followed. I'm aware of my cosmic insignificance, my societal displacement. It's been a year of strangeness, and I'm now more lost than found. It's almost like Insomniac (or whoever) can read my thoughts-or at the very least, my text messages. For that, I've always gotten a little chuckle, whenever I've randomly ended up watching something. I remember the shenanigans she went through to get him to sign a pair of boxing gloves for an auction she hosted, once, when I was younger. I stumbled upon an interview with none other than The Great Mike Tyson-who-if coincidences actually existed-coincidentally dated my mother oh-way-back-when. I have to step back at this point and admit to reading this shit to myself at this point, that. Here lies everything I won't delete, but wouldn't dare to publish (as of yet), and therefore banish to the land and/or realm of impossibility, where everything entirely consists of unimaginable, unfathomable, inconceivable, never-ever-happened ( or will) unexistence. This is a cringeworthy read, i'm sure of it.

Some of the biggest changes to the house were the structural renovations that Noah needed to do to make the house livable and safe. This told us that the placement of the bedroom was on the opposite side of the house as the painting room. When she leaves the bedroom, she runs down the hallway and to the left. When Allie wakes up after their night together, Noah has left a series of arrows on the floor directing her to the painting room. Even though some "movie magic" was used during filming, this is the location where we'd put the painting room if we were doing the home renovations. This discrepancy between what we see on-screen and what we know about the actual house had us guessing where exactly the painting room is located within the house. On-screen, the view out of the window shows a covered porch with circular columns where she goes outside to paint. Since some parts of the movie were filmed at other locations, many viewers have commented about the architectural discrepancies of the room. The windows overlook the water, and the easel is set up with a canvas. Upstairs, Noah gave Allie the painting room she wanted. We don't see the kitchen on screen, but we know that after dinner with Martha, Allie cleans up the dishes and watches out the kitchen window while Noah says goodbye to Martha. This side door leads to the kitchen which is off of the dining room. The side porch has the porch swing where Noah reads to Allie on a summer evening after they reunite. When Allie returns after the renovations, the piano is still there, but now there's a fire in the fireplace and a handmade dining table where Noah and Allie share a meal. When the young couple visited the house for the first time, this candlelit room had a neglected piano, cobwebs, and a blanket on the floor. One of the front rooms became the dining room after renovations. The renovations made the stairs safe for walking. This staircase is where, on their first visit to the house, Noah says that the previous owner had proposed to his wife on these steps. From the main entrance, the foyer leads to a central staircase and two front rooms on either side. This left the two-story columns on the front of the house uninterrupted. In the movie, it shows that Noah hitched this railing to his pickup truck and drove forward to tear it down. However, the second story porch was torn off the front of the house. During renovations, the third-story porch was rebuilt. But it needed more than a paint job to bring the building back to life. How Did Noah Repair the House for Allie? The exterior of the house is white with blue shutters, of course. Caches are simply collections of temporary data that your computer programs use to help load things faster. At this juncture, investors can’t place bets on OpenAI. Indeed, it’ll take many more improvements before an OpenAI product can take share away from the dominant search giant.ĪI continues to advance, even as the hype (and investment dollars) continue to be drained from the tech sector. OpenGPT, in particular, looks like it could be a successor of Google’s search engine. However, it’s tough to tell how far-reaching the disruptive AI technology will be in 10 years from now. OpenAI’s latest offerings may not be able to give human creatives a run for their money yet. Analysts stand by the name, with the average AAPL stock price target of $179.71. What is the Price Target for AAPL Stock?Īpple stock has taken a beating of late. In that regard, Apple may have a nice edge in the AI wars. Apple is one of the firms that will design with good intentions in mind from the get-go. Indeed, many things can go wrong when unleashing a profoundly game-changing technology to the world. This solid reputation will help the firm as federal regulators look to put forth measures to ensure that next-generation AIs are safe. Apple’s relentless focus on protecting user privacy has made it one of the more trusted companies in big tech. As its focus shifts to next-generation products (think smartwatches and headsets), look for Siri to play a more significant role in our daily lives. Once the time is right, Apple swoops in to “one up” its rivals, as it has done so many times.Īpple didn’t invent the smartphone it made it better. It’s more than willing to wait for its peers to test the waters and stomach the risks and repercussions. Like Google, Apple likely already has a more advanced assistant that’s not quite ready for prime time. Hardware continues to contribute an overwhelming chunk of the revenue pie – though services have grown by leaps and bounds over the years. Indeed, Apple is far from an AI pure-play. Like Google, I view Apple as having the data resources to make next-generation AI possible. Still, there’s a lot of room for improvement if the AI assistant is to impress and delight as OpenAI’s offerings have. Apple (AAPL)Īpple’s Siri has come a long way since its early days. The average GOOGL stock price target of $127.83 implies 42.35% gains from here. Wall Street still likes Alphabet stock, even as the bear claws at the share price. What is the Price Target for GOOGL Stock? We may have little visibility into the AI projects Alphabet’s working on, but it remains one of the disruptors likely to hold its throne at the top of the tech world. Ultimately, I think it’ll be Alphabet, not OpenAI, that will cannibalize its search engine over time.Īfter a turbulent year for tech, GOOGL stock is absurdly cheap at 18.4 times trailing earnings. In any case, I view Google as a leader in the AI space. Indeed, safety measures and regulatory guidelines may be needed for the Google Assistant to get that next big update we’re all hoping for. Given OpenGPT’s limitations, lack of sourcing, and potential for misuse, a next-generational chatbot may not be ready for the masses quite yet. It’s just not ready to be unleashed to the world. Of course, Alphabet may already have an OpenGPT-like conversational offering behind closed doors. With a wealth of data from billions of users around the world, Alphabet arguably has the tools to produce the most advanced AI. Indeed, Alphabet is one of the best public companies to play the next step of AI. This could change as OpenAI looks to emerge as a worthy challenger. Google Assistant, Siri, and Alexa haven’t really gotten more intelligent in recent years. OpenAI’s conversational AI could signal where smart home assistants are headed next. Though there are limitations (data accuracy is a concern), one can’t help but be intrigued when giving such early-stage OpenAI products a demo run. DALL♾ can create fascinating works of art based on input text, while OpenGPT is a “groundbreaking” conversational chatbot that can answer questions and even write essays. In this piece, I’ll compare two mature AI plays - Alphabet ( NASDAQ:GOOGL) ( NASDAQ:GOOG) and Apple ( NASDAQ:AAPL) that appear like the most intriguing high-upside candidates for 2023.ĭALL♾ and OpenGPT Chat are two of the most intriguing AI-powered innovations to come out of the OpenAI pipeline. OpenAI, a firm that Elon Musk helped back, has been making quite a splash of late with creative products whose disruptive potential cannot go ignored. Although Wall Street has turned its back on some of the most disruptive tech stocks, it’s hard to ignore the hype surrounding some of the latest AI innovations. Some pretzel recipes will have you use lye to soak the pretzels in. Enjoy! Serve alongside some dipping sauce of your choice.Bake the pretzels until they are golden brown, the cheese is nice and bubbly and the pepperoni is nice and sizzly. Leave the pepperoni off if you would just like plain cheese pretzels. These are pizza pretzels, so I added grated cheese and tiny pepperoni. This step gives the pretzels their pretzel taste and helps them to get golden brown in the oven. Popping the risen pretzels into the fridge helps with this. Slightly chilled dough is a little less floppy and easier to work with when putting the pretzels in the water bath. This helps them stand up to the water bath. I do the second rise for pretzels uncovered, in order to let the pretzels develop a bit of a skin. I did traditional pretzel shapes, but these would work great just as pretzel sticks or twists too. Divide the dough and shape the pretzels. This can be done either the day before, or the same day. You are welcome to try but please know it has not been tested so I cannot guarantee the results. It would be quite hard to knead it by hand I think. This recipe is a pretty stiff dough, so I like to make it in the stand mixer with the dough hook. This smaller batch pretzel recipe makes 6 pretzels, but you can easily double it if you like. I scaled back my regular pretzel recipe, which made 12 large pretzels. You can serve them with whatever you like - I used a tomato based sauce but they would also be amazing with hot honey. The cheese is crunchy and the pepperoni is salty and flavourful. I scaled the recipe back to a small batch pretzel recipe. These cheese pretzels are covered in pepperoni and are just so good. I had a bag of tiny pepperoni in my fridge so naturally I had to make cheese pretzels and then take it one step further and add the pepperoni to make pizza pretzels. The pretzel dough is super versatile and easy to make, so I am excited to show off what it can do! Before we left New York I redeveloped my Pretzel dough recipe and made a few things with it which I will share here. Eat the pretzels warm, or reheat them in an oven or microwave.Hi hi! Just popping in to share the recipe for these Pepperoni Pizza Pretzels with you. Keep brushing the butter on until you've used it all up it may seem like a lot, but that's what gives these pretzels their ethereal taste. Remove the pretzels from the oven, and brush them thoroughly with the melted butter. Allow them to rest, uncovered, for 10 minutes.īake the pretzels for 8 to 9 minutes, or until they're golden brown. Sprinkle them lightly with coarse, kosher, or pretzel salt. Transfer the pretzels to the prepared baking sheet. This baking soda bath will give the pretzels lovely golden-brown color. Roll each piece of dough into a long, thin rope (about 28" to 30" long), and twist each rope into a pretzel shape. Working with four pretzels at a time, place them in the pan with the baking soda/water, spooning the water over their tops leave them in the water for 2 minutes before placing them on the baking sheet. Pour the baking soda/water into a 9" square pan. Transfer the dough to a lightly greased work surface, and divide it into eight equal pieces (about 70g each).Īllow the pieces to rest, uncovered, for 5 minutes. Prepare a baking sheet by spraying it with vegetable oil spray, or lining it with parchment paper. Set the mixture aside to cool to lukewarm (or cooler).
